Marchand On Playoff Excitement: 'I Can't Sleep'

BOSTON (CBS) - The Boston Bruins hit the ice for the first time since the end of the regular season, and the playoff atmosphere is already in the air.

Especially for a couple of players who will make their playoff debut's on Thursday against the Montreal Canadiens.

"I can't sleep," rookie Brad Marchand said. "It's very exciting, I can't wait for this to come. It's the best time of the year. Everyone waits for this all year long and I don't think this could be a better matchup for the fans and everyone. Everyone's real excited to get it going."

"You can really feel it," said Nathan Horton, who will be playing in his first playoff game after spending six seasons with the Florida Panthers. "It's just a feeling, its hard to explain. I'm excited to get going, play my first playoff game."

"This is what you play for as a hockey player. Just to be in this situation and be a part of it," Horton said. "It's pretty special and I think everyone involved in it thinks it's pretty special."

"I'm in hockey world now in Boston," he added. "If you're going to be in the playoffs this is the place you want to play. Be a part of this with the fans and with the teams it's going to be fun."
