With June comes warm weather and sunshine filled days which is usually a clear sign that you're favorite season is here: Summer. This means that the streets are finally filled with girls in crop tops and short shorts, while any green space or beach is covered with babes in bikinis. It's truly the most magical time of year.

Not only is summer the ultimate ogling time, but it's also the best season for you to get down and party. So in order to start summer off on the right drunken foot, head over to the Townshend to get in the spirit of the season.

The Townshend is the newest modern tavern to hit the Boston area and the only place in Quincy that references something that caused that whole Boston Tea Party and American Revolution thing. Just kidding on that one, but we're pretty sure they are the newest place to offer seasonal rustic fare, and hand crafted cocktails, as well as a beautifully curated beer and wine list.

Seriously though, you'll get to chow down on bar snacks like the Arancini in Marinara, and Grilled Shrimp on Almond Romesco Sauce before enjoying some of the main plates like the Giannone Chicken or the Gnocchi in Mushroom Ragu. We know you're probably fixed on that whole "hand crafted cocktail and beautifully curated beer and wine list" part, so yeah- with delicious cocktails like the Peacefield and Adams Green, plus a huge selection of beer that celebrates top New England craft breweries, they pretty much have everything you could ever want.

Basically we're telling you that at the Townshend you can eat and drink yourself into oblivion and everyone will be perfectly okay with it. So yeah, we highly recommend you going there; just don't try to impose any extra taxes on anyone.
