Best Places To Go Caroling Around Boston

Bring along your favorite song book of carols and join these exuberant groups of singers who volunteer to bring cheer to their neighbors of Boston. If you're finding it hard to get into the spirit, or know of some "Bah Humbuggers," bring them along because the joy is infectious. It's almost impossible not to get into the festive mood once you've gone caroling.

This will mark the 10th annual caroling mob event in Boston, meeting up at an MBTA station rain, snow or shine. The Loose Canon Chorale and its organizer Joe Sindelar put together a four-part harmony caroling crew that makes its rounds through Jamaica Plain, finishing up to warm their toes and take off their mittens at a local area restaurant. It's a great adventure and tons of fun. Meet carolers of all types while spreading good cheer, smiles and laughter. Dates, times and location are subject to change, so be prepared. Music will be provided.

Old Sturbridge Village continues its role as a museum of olden times with a Candlelight caroling event each weekend in December. Bringing cheer, gingerbread houses and candlelight, the museum features a Victorian caroling performance with you as the special guest. Bring along the ear muffs and Santa hats and settle in among the Christmas railroad display and authentic decor aglow with the warmth of happy carolers. Take home a special keepsake of the adventure this season, and be sure to return each year to brighten up the holidays with music and laughter.

The Vine of Haverhill brings along homemade mittens and hats made of fleece for the taking as well as warm blankets for those in need of a bit of extra comfort and joy this season. It's all about community, neighbors and families sharing and caring during the holidays. An ample supply of candles will be readily handy, making this evening a beautiful time to spend in the merriment of caroling to your heart's content.
