Second Arrest Made In Murder Of East Boston Woman
BOSTON (CBS) – A second suspect has been arrested in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old woman who was found stabbed and beaten inside an East Boston garage.
Angel Ramos-Oliva, 21, was arrested Friday and charged with murder for the death of Blanca Lainez, who was found dead on June 15 on Princeton Street.
Prosecutors said Ramos-Oliva's arrest came thanks to private surveillance video and fingerprint analysis.
Jose Hernandez, 16, was also charged with murder in July.
Last week police released a photo of a woman they wanted to speak with related to Lainez's murder. She was found a short time later and interviewed.
Construction workers discovered Lainez's body inside a Princeton Street garage.
Ramos-Oliva was arraigned Friday and is being held without bail.
