Rold Gold Pretzels Recalled For Possible Peanut Residue

PLANO, Texas (CBS) – Several varieties of Rold Gold pretzels are being recalled because they may contain undeclared peanut residue.

Frito-Lay has announced that the flour used to make select Rold Gold Tiny Twists, Rold Gold Thins, Rold Gold Sticks and Rold Gold Honey Wheat Braided may have been contaminated with low levels of peanut residue.

The recall of products made with Grain Craft flour has also affected Hostess snacks.

Pretzels with a "guaranteed fresh date" ranging between June 28 and August 23 may be impacted.

There have been no illnesses linked to the recall yet, Frito-Lay says.
