So far, Hostess has gotten word of two allergic reactions connected to the recalled products.

The level of peanut residue is too low to affect most people with peanut allergies, but some with extreme sensitivity to peanuts could experience a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction, Hostess says.

The recalled items can be returned to stores for a full refund.
