Route 2 In Littleton Closed After Serious Crash
LITTLETON (CBS) -- Route 2 east and west were shut down briefly in Littleton Thursday morning following a serious three-car crash during rush hour.
Two of the cars were heavily damaged in the collision, which happened just before 8 a.m. on the westbound side of the highway. One of the vehicles flipped over.
All three drivers were hurt.
One was rushed to Tufts Medical Center on a MedFlight rescue helicopter. There's no word yet on her condition.
The other two were taken to Emerson Hospital in Concord.
Both sides of the highway east of I-495 were closed temporarily for the chopper landing and the investigation.
The cause of the crash is still not known.
