Gresh & Zo's 2014 NFL Summer School: St. Louis Rams

BOSTON (CBS) -  It's not your typical classroom. They're not your typical teachers. It's where you go after failing all year. It's Gresh and Zo's NFL Summer School on 98.5 The Sports Hub!

The summer school rolls on and heads to the Show Me State, where Andy Gresh and Scott Zolak break down and preview the 2014 St. Louis Rams.

TAKING ATTENDANCE:

The St. Louis Rams lost safety Darian Stewart in free agency and quarterback Sam Bradford to season-ending injury.

The Rams signed offensive lineman Rodger Saffold in free agency and drafted tackle Greg Robinson to add to the mix. They also drafted defensive tackle Aaron Donald, cornerback E.J. Gaines, running back Tre Mason and defensive end Michael Sam.

Gresh: "I like what they've done. They've continued to overturn the roster and have done a nice job of building up their front seven to where they really have a big defensive presence. They're a little weak at wide receiver. Jeff Fisher has been very shrewd in trading picks and has gotten hauls for them."

Zo: "We talked about the Cardinals yesterday and how they've had to fight just to be the third best team in the division, and the Rams are the fourth by a longshot. You lose your franchise quarterback (Sam Bradford) for the year and you've got issues. Major issues right now."

POP QUIZ:

Can the Rams survive without quarterback Sam Bradford?

Zo: "There is surviving and then there is functioning. I go back to the Patriots when Brady went down and Matt Cassel came in. They got to 11 wins and survived. Functioning is getting to six or seven wins. I don't think the Rams can survive. I think they can function, if that makes any sense."

FANTASY 101:

Will WRs Tavon Austin and Kenny Britt lose value now that Bradford is out for the season?

Gresh: "The only guy worth drafting now on the Rams until you know the quarterback situation is maybe running back Zac Stacy. But even then it's slim pickings."

FINAL GRADE:

Last year the Rams finished 7-9. Year before that? 7-8-1. Vegas has set the under/over at 6 ½ wins. Where do they finish and do they make the playoffs?

Gresh: "Under. No playoffs."

Zo: "I'll take the under also."
