Report: Rob Gronkowski To Have Cameo In 'Entourage' Movie

BOSTON (CBS) -- Yo soy actor.

Patriots star tight end Rob Gronkowski is reportedly expanding his horizons, as TMZ reported that he will play a role in the upcoming "Entourage" film.

The movie is the continuation of the HBO series of the same name, which aired for eight seasons. For more than two years, the production of the film was in limbo, but it finally became official at the end of October.

And now, stars Adrian Grenier, Jeremy Piven, Kevin Connolly, Matt Dillon and Co. will have to share the screen -- at least for a scene -- with the 6-foot-6 football star.

Gronkowski will be playing ... himself, according to TMZ, which spoke to Gronkowski's "theatrical manager" Henry Penzi.

The report also says shooting begins in January, so Gronkowski and the Patriots have to hope his services won't be needed until February, in the event of a long playoff run.

Gronkowski's not the first Patriots player to guest star in "Entourage," as Brady appeared in several scenes in the sixth season of the show in 2009. Gronkowski's recent former teammate Brandon Lloyd also dabbled in the acting arts, starring in a straight-to-DVD zombie movie called "After Effect."
