Rob Gronkowski Rap Song Takes Internet By Storm
BOSTON (CBS) -- Rob Gronkowski is a famous athlete, a literary star, an accomplished drive-thru coffee salesman, and an occasional nude model, so it's not entirely surprising that he's now adding a new line to his resume.
He now has his own rap song.
The 24-year-old isn't the rapper of the song, but he does "approve this message" before rapper Uno begins the song.
The accompanying video shows clips of Gronkowski on the field and behind the scenes.
The video was posted to YouTube on Oct. 25, but it didn't get much attention until Robert Bailey, president of Rosenhaus Sports, tweeted a link to the video on Wednesday morning. It appears on the GronkNation website, so it seemingly has the stamp of approval from Rob and the Gronkowski family.
The lyrics include at least one bold proclamation:
So I'm right back to it
They all love how I do it
Can't nobody else do it like me
The game will never be the same
I'm heading for the Hall of Fame
I bet you heard the name Gronkowski
