Amendola Active, Talib Out For Patriots vs. Dolphins
BOSTON (CBS) – New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola is active for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins, but corner Aqib Talib will miss his second straight game with a hip injury.
Talib missed last week’s loss against the Jets with a hip injury he suffered two weeks ago against the New Orleans Saints. Now Devin McCourty and Kyle Arrington will be tasked to contain Miami wide receiver Mike Wallace.
Amendola also missed last week after suffering a concussion against the Saints, but said on Friday he was ready to go for this one. This will be the first week this season that Tom Brady will have both Rob Gronkowski and Danny Amendola on the field together.
Here is the full list of Patriots’ inactives for Sunday:
WR Josh Boyce
CB Aqib Talib
LB Steve Buaeharnais
DL Tommy Kelly
RB Leon Washington
DL Jake Bequette
OL Chris Baker
Defensive lineman Andre Carter, who the Patriots signed five days ago, is active for this one and could see some action against the Dolphins. Safety Tavon Wilson is also active after missing the last four weeks with a hamstring injury.
