Patriots Cut TE Landi, DL White To Trim Roster To 75

BOSTON (CBS) - The Patriots released tight end Evan Landi and defensive lineman Anthony Rashad White, trimming their roster to meet the NFL-mandatory 75-man limit.

Landi went undrafted in this year's draft and originally signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a rookie free agent. He was released, and signed with the Patriots on August 13. He caught three touchdowns in his fours years at South Florida, and was brought in by New England as insurance for their ailing tight end group.
