Patriots' Amendola Returns To Practice

BOSTON (CBS) - New England Patriots receiver Danny Amendola was back on the practice field on Monday after missing last week with an undisclosed injury.

Amendola sat out both practice sessions last week as well as Thursday night's 40-9 loss to the Detroit Lions. He had last seen the field in New England's preseaon win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on August 16, when he caught six passes for 71 yards and a touchdown.

Despite Amendola missing time last week, the team did not consider his absence as a serious issue. According to all the reports from practice, the wide out was a full participant with no restrictions at Monday's session.

Patirots defensive end Jermaine Cunningham was also in pads for Monday's practice. Cunningham has missed all three preseason games with an undisclosed injury, and finds himself on the roster bubble ahead of Tuesday's cuts. The fourth-year end worked with trainers on the lower practice field away from the rest of the team on Monday.
