NH Police Identify Victim In Windham Fatal

WINDHAM, N.H. (AP) — Police in New Hampshire say a Boston man was killed when a woman charged with drunk driving hit him as he was changing a tire in the breakdown lane on Interstate 93 in Windham.

State police have identified the victim as 45-year-old Angel Gonzalez, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Passenger Alyssa Jarvis of Randolph, Vt., was hospitalized with serious leg injuries.

A third occupant of the car — James Henley of Lynn, Mass. — was not injured.

Police say the trio was in the process of removing a spare tire from the trunk of their Honda on Wednesday night when a car driven by 47-year-old Pauline Kochniec of Berlin rear-ended their car at Exit 3 southbound.

Kochniec was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated.
