Recorded Message From Brady Thanks Patriots Fans For Their Support

BOSTON (CBS) - It's been more than a week since the New England Patriots season ended at the hands of the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game, but they want to make sure their fans feel the love for all the support they gave the team this year.

So who better to deliver that message than quarterback Tom Brady? And imagine the excitement of picking up your phone and having Brady on the other end.

Well, at least a recorded message from Brady. Same difference, right?

Patriots season ticket holders and club members have been receiving a recorded message from Brady this week, thanking them for their support during the 2012 season.

"Hi, this is Tom Brady calling. On behalf of the entire Patriots organization, I want to thank you for the tremendous support you showed our team this past season," the pre-recorded messages says. "Your enthusiasm and passion in the stadium really motivated me and the team on game day. Thanks for being our 12th man on the field. As a season-ticket holder you help provide the foundation for our team's success and we look forward to welcoming you back in 2013."

While fans would have preferred a different end to the season, with Brady thanking them from the steps of City Hall following a parade instead of a voice mail, it's a nice gesture by the Patriots -- just one of the many reasons they have such a good relationship with their fans.
