BOSTON (CBS) — Tom Brady is the king of the New England sports scene, and he’s also the king of his own castle. To drive that point home, the quarterback’s new $20 million mansion in California features its own moat.
It’s unclear if the moat is intended to keep out any invading ancient armies that decide to lay siege upon, but what is very clear is that Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s new Los Angeles home is quite the sight to behold.
The 22,000 square-foot mansion took three years to build, according to the Detroit Free Press, and features a “resort-like pool” and a big backyard.
The residence is likely to serve as Brady’s main offseason home, and when he gets back to the Boston area for the season, you can bet he’ll be moat-sick.
