BOSTON (CBS) – Following his four touchdown performance in the Patriots 45-7 win over the Rams in London, New England quarterback Tom Brady has been named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week.
Brady finished his afternoon across the pond with 304 yards, completing 23 of his 35 passes against St. Louis. It marked the fifth time this season Brady has eclipsed the 300-yard mark through the air, and 50th time of his career — tying him for seventh on the NFL’s All-Time list.
This is the second time this season Brady has earned the weekly honor, bringing it home after New England’s 52-28 win over the Bills in Week 4.
It’s the 22nd time he’s won the award in his career, tying him with Denver quarterback Peyton Manning for the most.
