Toucher & Rich: Garrett Quinn On Occupy Boston Protesters

Garrett Quinn wrote an article about the Occupy Boston protesters and was on hand at 1:20am today as the police arrested over 100 of the protesters. The arrests came after demonstrators left their base camp and occupied an area of the Rose Kennedy Greenway that was off-limits.

Quinn joined Toucher & Rich and filled the guys in on what the message the protesters are trying to get heard.

"It's a variety of messages, a lot of it is mostly targeted at large institutions of power like banks, the federal government, the federal reserve. One of the underlying complaints that I'm hearing from the crowd is concerns about student debt. People are telling me they are just getting crushed by hundreds of thousands of dollars in student debt," Quinn said.

They went on to discuss the land that the protesters were on and what did they want done before they were willing to leave. All this and more from Garrett Quinn.
