Toucher and Rich
Though Fred and Wallach were not in, the Toucher & Rich Draft must go on.
Will the Celtics ever be able to attract a big name free agent to Boston? CBS Sports’ James Herbert joined 98.5 The Sports Hub to discuss.
“I am not against the Boston Olympics. I am highly skeptical of that and any other grandiose, massive urban redevelopment scheme, as someone who commuted through the Big Dig for 14 years of my life.”
“Here’s what I don’t want: Sweeney gets bashed when crappy trades happen, and then something good happens and we all praise Neely.”
Aware of the criticism, Ainge called into the Toucher & Rich program on Friday morning to provide some detail about draft night.
“I just think there’s too many teams that want to deal for the Celtics to get shut out of this top 10.”
Toucher & Rich talked to Joe Haggerty of CSNNE about his latest column involving Milan Lucic and other Bruins trade rumors.
Rich, Jon Wallach and Mike Lockhart are in the war room and on the clock.
“Brady’s sworn testimony was sort of a challenge, saying, ‘Take us to court. We already have this. What do you have? Are you going to share your emails and your texts with Ted Wells?'”
“You’re treating him as a repeat offender. The team is a repeat offender; he’s not a repeat offender. And I think that’s the shame of all of this.”
The Boston Bruins (and Toucher & Rich) once again shaved their heads for charity on Tuesday, with 100 percent participation from the team at the 8th Annual “Cuts For A Cause.”
