Throwback Weekend For Patriots

FOXBORO (CBS) – Here are some quick Patriots notes for Sunday’s upcoming game against the Jets:

– The Pats are going to wear the throwback jerseys with their “Pat the Patriot” logo. They are 7-3 in their throwbacks. The Jets will remain in the present, and wear their regular road jerseys.

– The Pats are 30-5 in the month of October since 2003.

– The Patriots are 7-4 all-time against the Jets at Gillette Stadium.

– For the all-time series between the two teams, the Jets hold a 52-51-1 edge.

– The Jets have 14 season sweeps of the series, with the Patriots owning 13.

– Bill Belichick is 15-9 all-time against the Jets, 14-8 while with New England.

– The Pats have 28 accepted penalties this season, 12th most in the NFL. Leigh Bodden and Rob Gronkowski lead the team with three penalties apiece.
