Patriots Haynesworth Misses Fourth Straight Day

FOXBORO (CBS) – For the fourth day in a row, Albert Haynesworth is not participating in practice.

Patriots coach Bill Belichick talked about Albert’s absence on Tuesday, and sounded up-beat, stating the defensive lineman is working hard and close to a return.

“I’d put him in the ‘day-to-day’ category. He’s getting some treatment. I think he’ll be back out there as soon as he can,” said Belichick.

The Patriots coach said Haynesworth could return to practice in the next day or two.

Haynesworth missing this much time though could mean he’s a no-show for Thursday’s preseason opener against the Jaguars.
