FOXBORO (CBS) — He may be banned from the property for the next four weeks, but make no mistake about it: Gillette Stadium is Tom Brady’s house.

There are giant banners of the New England Patriots quarterback on both sides of the stadium’s lighthouse, so that you can see them from inside and outside the stadium.

Brady began his suspension for his role in DeflateGate on Saturday.

Wide receiver Julian Edelman also showed support for Brady over the weekend. He told reporters on Sunday that not having Brady around was like “one of your buddies going to jail.”

The Patriots will be led by backup quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo when they open their season against the Arizona Cardinals Sunday night.
