BOSTON (CBS) – Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker is one popular guy.

A new poll has named Baker the most popular governor in the United States for a second year in a row.

The Morning Consult online survey found that Baker has a 72 percent approval rating in the Bay State. That’s just ahead of Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan.

Only 16 percent of respondents say they disapprove of the job Baker is doing.

Eight of the nation’s 10 most popular governors are Republican, the survey found.

Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback was named the least popular governor with a 65 percent disapproval rating.
