THE DEFENSE

Q: Where do you live? And how old are you?

A: I live in the suburb of Dover, 02030. I'm 36 years old.

Q: What's your car's main use?

A: I mainly use it to commute to work and back. I don't particularly love fighting traffic to get into the city each week, but I do like the 45 minutes of kid-free peace and quiet in my car.

Q: Where did you buy your Toyota?

A: I got my car from Wellesley Toyota. I remember it being a pretty painless transaction. I got married, had a kid, and started commuting into the city. I needed something more economical.

Q: What was your previous car? It wasn't economical?

A: My previous car was a 2005 BMW 325xi. Boy do I miss it!

Q: We are here today at the North End Garage. How long have you been using it?

A: I've been parking here for about five years.

Q: Did you know it is the site of the biggest heist in Boston history, the Great Brink's Robbery? At the time billed the crime of the century?

A: I had absolutely no idea. But it makes my parking garage that much cooler.

Q: You have kids, so you must have rules in your car?

A: The driver gets to control the radio and the temperature.

Q: How many miles do you think are left in the life of your car?

A: These hybrids are a relatively new technology. I'm hoping for at least another 50,000 miles. My next car should be a minivan. Just kidding! I will never own a minivan! My dream car is a red convertible BMW Z4. Can they make that into a hybrid?

Q: Is there anything else we should know about your car?

A: It gets 52.2 miles per gallon, what else do you need to know?!
