Whether you're with a group of friends or spending the day with your family, you may be up for some ice skating fun. Head on over to Frog Pond on Beacon Street. Once there, you can rent skates and get on the ice for a bit. Sure, it's going to be cold out, but it's Boston! Bundle up and have a blast!
If you're from Boston, chances are you're passionate about sports (and maybe that's an understatement). On Jan. 1, the Boston Bruins will be hosting the Montreal Canadiens at a different "home" venue. The two teams will face off at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough for their second time in the Winter Classic (in 2010 they played the Philadelphia Flyers at Fenway Park).
The Bruins will be wearing a new uniform for the game, inspired by the team's first ever season in 1924. This will undoubtedly be a great match-up between two teams who have been longtime rivals.
