Open daily, located right in Porter Square, is area favorite Christopher’s. Start off your meal with one of the many appetizers including the fried pickles served with ranch dressing, roasted beet and goat cheese salad or the sweet potato fries. Christopher’s veggie burger is a highlight on the menu. It’s house-made and covered with roasted red peppers along with pesto, served with salad and fries, all for under $9. This spot also has a buffalo tofu burger made of battered and fried tofu and smothered with spicy buffalo sauce, blue cheese, lettuce, and a tomato, all on a hearty French roll.

Although it has a long list of signature beef burgers at this casual, fast-food restaurant, it also has an option to build your own burger starting with a veggie patty. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles and grilled mushrooms or fried jalapenos are just a few of the many accompaniments to the burgers. Plus, there are six cheeses to choose from and 10 sauces like chipotle or horseradish to add to your creation.
