Tickets in North Carolina, Puerto Rico and Texas have matched all six numbers to split a $564.1 million Powerball jackpot, lottery officials said Thursday.
The two winning Mega Millions tickets were sold in California and Georgia, lottery officials said Wednesday.
The winning numbers drawn late Wednesday night were 7-10-22-32-35 with the Powerball of 19.
At least three people in two states have beaten astronomical odds to become the nation’s latest Powerball millionaires.
The jackpot has soared to $475 million after none of the tickets sold matched all the winning numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing: 2, 11, 26, 34, 41 and a Powerball of 32.
The Mega Millions jackpot is now at $500 million for Friday’s drawing, a new record.
The one winning Powerball ticket was sold in New England.
There were two winners in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing.
