Towards afternoon some high clouds will approach from the west associated with an approaching warm front. Regardless, lots of sun will be found with seasonal high temperatures around 50 degrees.
Another storm will be making a run at New England Wednesday, according to WBZ-TV meteorologist Joe Joyce.
There is likely to be some sort of storm off our coastline by the middle of next week. How close it comes and what its track and strength will be remains to be seen.
Despite a cold frontal passage today, the immediate post-frontal air mass will be summer-like with high temperatures reaching the lwr-middle 70′s in many locations, with the exception of the Cape and Islands where winds off the water will keep temperatures closer to 70. Average highs this time of year are around 60 degrees, so we’ll be 15 degrees above normal to start the weekend! Southwest winds will be breezy at 10-20mph.
Look for a breezy mix of sun and clouds Monday. A few instability showers may pop across the north where there will be lingering clouds along with the upper low which will continue to pull away. Partly to Mostly sunny skies in the south with highs climbing into the upper 60′s and Lwr 70′s. Winds could gust to 30-35 mph with SW winds tomorrow .
The main weather action will occur at night, around midnight in western Massachusetts and near dawn on Wednesday in eastern Massachusetts.
Rainfall amounts will be 1-3 inches, leading to the potential for some localized street flooding just in time for Wednesday mornings commute.

We will be watching clouds advancing ahead of an approaching low up the coast Tuesday. Skies will be clouding over with a chance of rain or showers on the Cape by late afternoon and for the coast by evening.
Dewpoints have climbed into the Lwr-mid 60′s so there is a muggy feel along with the increasing heat. Temps will be close to yesterday’s, but maybe a couple of degrees warmer climbing into the Lwr 90′s in most areas. Along with the humidity, this is a day where you need to take moments during the day to stay cool…either by AC, shade, water, or ice cream!
