A manager at a Pizza Hut in Elkhart, IN says he was fired because he refused to open the restaurant on Thanksgiving.

Tony Rohr says in the ten years he worked at the location, it was always closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas, but when he was told that opening on Thanksgiving was mandatory this year he decided to take a stand. “I said why can’t we be the company that stands up and says we care about our employees and they can have the day off,” Rohr said.
