Boston Police and Boston Park Rangers will be enforcing the ordinance which is punishable by a fine of $250.

The Boston Globe reports the ban would include cigarettes, marijuana, and electronic cigarettes in more than 250 parks, squares, cemeteries, and other open spaces managed by the city’s Parks and Recreation Department.
