Put A Fork In Summer…Fall Is Here to Stay.

Cool High pressure sits over New England this morning with cool calm conditions. Temps in the 40’s and 50’s will be warming inot the 60’s this afternoon. Light NE winds will keep it cooler at the coast 62-65, very similar to the current Ocean Temp. It will be slightly warmer inland 65-68 away from the onshore flow.

All Good Things Come To An End…

Sunshine and light SW winds will allow temps to warm up quickly this morning into the afternoon. Highs will be climbing into the mid-upper 70’s inland. Winds will be light enough to turn onshore during the afternoon…a sea breeze will keep temps in the Lwr 70s at the beach. High clouds may increase a bit during the afternoon…but just an all around stellar day outside.

Almost There…

We just have to make it through today…which will still be quite warm and tropical. The heaviest rain of the early morning has shifted off the coast with still a few lingering heavy downpours tracking from Worcester county into southern New Hampshire. Clouds continue to steam up the coast with the humid SW flow aloft…but the day will become progressively better by afternoon.

Tropical Humidity Triggers Scattered Showers/Storms This Weekend

it’s a muggy morning across the region with abundant cloud cover with breaks of hazy sunshine. We can expect a warm humid Saturday with mostly dry conditions for most in the morning. By the afternoon, the atmosphere will begin to pop again with scattered showers and thunderstorms.

One More Day….

One more day in the heat and humidity before we get a welcome break in the summer weather and a return to a more seasonal and comfortable airmass. A warm front has pushed off the coast this morning with winds shifting to the SW. Hazy sunshine will help to spike temps into the 80’s near 90 by midday.

Amazing Weather Overall…But What About The 4th?

Temps will be warming up this afternoon inland climbing into the mid 80’s for most areas, even nearing 90 in western New England. Weak high pressure will make for wall to wall sunshine through the day with light NW winds. A sea breeze will likely develop at the coast this afternoon to cool temps from the lwr 80’s back into the 70’s for the second half of the day.

Weekend Woes And Worries

Batches of showers will continue to be directed up into eastern MA for the rest of the day. With cool onshore SE winds…expect highs to remain in the lwr 60’s with a bit warmer temps inland in the mid 60’s where it will be drier this afternoon in the mid 60’s nearing 70 in spots.

Sunny & Warmer Weekend…Then Clouds/Showers Return

With high pressure sitting over us today, temps will climb into the 70’s and lwr 80’s inland. Light east winds will keep temps in the 60’s at the immediate beaches. The sea breeze will not penetrate more than a mile or two inland…so once away from the water…expect a warmer day.

One More Day Until Sunshine….

That dry air will begin to erode some of the low cloud cover this afternoon…with breaks of sun forming inland. The front will stall as it approaches SE MA…so clouds will remain pretty locked in at the coast for much of the day. With light onshore winds….expect temps to remain in the 50’s with Lwr-mid 60’s farther inland away from the cooler water temps.
