A potentially deadly drinking game is being blamed for taking lives in the United Kingdom and Ireland, and there are concerns it could come to the United States next.

The game is called “neknominate”, where young people post video of themselves drinking large amounts of alcohol in different ways, then challenge their friends to do the same thing — or come up with something even more extreme.

Daily Talker: Facebook Adds More Gender Options

You’ll now have a lot more options — nearly fifty terms — when filling out your gender information on Facebook.

The social networking site has been working with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights groups to expand the choices beyond male and female, and says the change is aimed at giving people more choices in how they describe themselves.

Facebook Adds 50 New Options For ‘Gender’ In Profiles

Facebook announced Thursday that its 159 million U.S. users now have dozens of options for completing the gender question on their profiles. The social media giant has been working with lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights groups to expand the choices beyond male and female. The result: a “custom” option that lets users pick from about 50 terms, including transsexual, androgynous and intersex.
