Lawyers for Aaron Hernandez have filed a motion to keep evidence from the 2012 double murder case he is charged with from being used in his upcoming trial for the murder of Odin Lloyd.
Former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was indicted on first-degree murder charges Thursday in a double murder in the South End.
Boston police write in the June 28 affidavit there is probable cause to believe that Hernandez was driving a vehicle used in the shooting and “may have been the shooter.”
According to the warrant, police suspect Hernandez was driving a SUV that was involved in the murders of two men in the South End in July 2012.
New surveillance footage allegedly shows former New England Patriot Aaron Hernandez with two men hours before they were shot-to-death in the South End.
The double murder at an Andover mansion earlier this week appeared to be well-planned, according to a broadcast report.
