Nearly every member of the Boston Bruins received very short haircuts on Monday, but they all got their cuts for a cause.

Shawn Thornton joined 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Toucher & Rich Monday morning to announce that the bidding to shave a player’s head at the Sixth Annual ‘Cuts For A Cause’ has begun.
Thornton joined Toucher & Rich to make the announcement about this year’s “Cuts For A Cause” event, how this team has performed lately, the tight schedule and the injury to Chris Kelly.
When asked if he would join the “Cuts For A Cause” this year Michael Felger happily came aboard and put his hair up for bids. T&R thought that there might have been a plan by Comcast to not have Felger’s head completely shaved so they did some digging.
Torey Krug joined the Bruins on Sunday, skated on Tuesday, and was getting a haircut with the team by Wednesday.

98.5 The Sports Hub’s Toucher & Rich and Boston Bruins forward Shawn Thornton hosted the fifth annual “Cuts for a Cause” to benefit the Bruins Foundation and the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center.
Although 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Michael Felger couldn’t be at the fifth annual “Cuts for a Cause” on Wednesday, he still got a haircut for charity.
