Wet Start to Weekend…With A Dry Finish

High pressure is parked off the coast today providing abundant sunshine, sparkling blue skies and a very pleasant fall feel. Light winds from the SE will keep it slightly cooler at the coast this afternoon as most areas will climb to 60-65. A beautiful seasonal airmass for this time of year.

How Long Will The Unseasonably Warm Weather Last?

High pressure in place across the mid Atlantic is pulling offshore and will begin to wrap in a breezy SW wind today and start the warm up with highs climbing into the 50’s.

The batches of snow showers are very spotty and light so this will keep accumulations down. As the low tracks through tonight is should keep the heaviest snow across SVT, SNH and N. MA. Though snow will start off light, heavier bands may try to develop overnight into the early morning Saturday

Colder Pattern Here to Stay for A While

I would expect some diurnal cumulus to start to pop around midday into the afternoon. Still plenty of sunshine. Highs are stuck in the 30’s today with Lwr 40’s tomorrow with brisk NW winds.
