An athlete who died after suffering medical distress during the swimming portion of the USA Triathlon in Vermont has been identified as a man from Beverly.
A vehicle rolled out of a neighbor’s driveway, crashed through her house and pinned her against the wall.
Hamilton policeman Kenneth Nagy shot Beverly officer Jason Lantych outside a Beverly coffee shop Friday, then returned to the scene a few hours later and killed himself.
Witnesses told WBZ-TV Monday that moments after the shooting, Officer Lantych said Sgt. Nagy had “a couple reasons” for shooting him.
