After an impressive freshman campaign, Bob Socci returns to the booth for his second season as play-by-play voice of the Patriots Radio Network. Bob’s play calling won rave reviews, and his enthusiasm and accuracy continued a tradition of excellence established by the legendary Gil Santos. Before joining the Patriots, Bob served as the voice of the Naval Academy Midshipmen for 16 years. The Milton, MA native has also been the lead voice of Patriot League college basketball for CBS Sports Network, and has called Triple A baseball for the last decade, most recently as voice of the Pawtucket Red Sox.
He spent eight seasons in a Patriots uniform, and now Scott Zolak returns for a third season as action analyst on the Network. The former quarterback served a season on the sidelines as an on-field reporter in 2011, and prior to that was a member of our pre and postgame panel for six seasons. He hosts the midday Gresh and Zolak Show on the flagship 98.5 The Sports Hub; he also co-hosts WBZ-TV’s Patriots All Access and TV38’s Patriots This Week. He’s served as an analyst on Channel 4’s Patriots Gameday and Patriots Fifth Quarter for the last 13 seasons. Zo’s been a frequent guest on Comcast Sportsnet New England, and he’s shown his skill in the television booth as an action analyst on college football telecasts for CSTV.
Animated, opinionated, and never at a loss for words: that’s the story of Andy Gresh, who’s entering his eleventh season as a Patriots radio network contributor. Co-host of the Gresh and Zolak Show middays on the flagship 98.5 The Sports Hub, Gresh’s profile continues to grow. He’s hosted national programs for Sirius/XM satellite radio and ESPN Radio, and served as a game analyst and studio commentator for a number of regional cable television outlets. A two-time letterman at URI, Andy was named to the Providence Journal’s 1991 all-state football team as an offensive lineman at Westerly High School.
Gary Tanguay enters his twelfth season as host of Patriots Preview and Patriots Postgame, offering a steady hand and unique insight to the network’s six hours of pre and postgame programming. Tanguay is also the host of Arbella Early Edition, a nightly 30-minute sports interview and discussion show on Comcast Sportsnet New England. Prior to joining CSNNE, Gary served as a sports reporter for WBZ-TV Channel 4, where he hosted the Sunday night Sports Final. He’s also worked at WLVI-TV in Boston, WGMC-TV in Worcester, and New England Cable News. In 1998, he was recognized with the Associated Press Best Sports Feature Award for his portrayal of the Joey DeGrandis story, a local boxing champion. Tanguay served as an original staff member at Sports Radio 850 WEEI in Boston; sports director for WERZ-FM and WMYF-AM in Exeter, NH; and as a radio personality at WIDE-AM and WYJY-FM in Biddeford, ME.
