Bob Socci was named play-by-play announcer of the New England Patriots Radio Network in April of 2013. He grew up in Auburn, N.Y and has spent the last five years living outside Boston. For the last 16 seasons, Socci has been the radio play-by-play voice for Navy football. Along with being the voice of the Midshipman, Bob has worked television for CBS Sports Network calling Patriot League basketball leagues. He is also an experienced baseball broadcaster calling the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes, Norfolk Tides and Pawtucket Red Sox. You can read some of his sports writing on his website, BobSocci.com.
Scott Zolak was named the color man for the New England Patriots Radio Network in 2012. A former Patriot quarterback from 1991-1998, Zo has spent his entire life around football. He started off his radio career a co-host of a morning sports radio talk show on Rhode Island Sports talk Station “The Score” (WSKO/790 & WSKO-FM/99.7). He is also a football analyst for the CBS College Sports Network. For the 2008 NFL season, Zolak joined WCVB(ABC Boston) as the station’s Patriots analyst and also appeared on “SportsCenter 5 OT” on Sundays with Mike Lynch . He also contributes to “Patriots All Access”, a joint production of WCVB and Kraft Sports Productions. Zolak is also part of the official pre- and post-game shows on the flagship radio station for the Patriots. He also appears on WBZ-TV as a Patriots Insider.
Andy Gresh has been a pre, post and halftime analyst on the Patriots Radio Network since the 2005 season and can be heard weekdays from 10am until 2pm on 98.5 The Sports Hub with co-host Scott Zolak. He’s also the current lead analyst for Comcast/NBC’s coverage of CAA Football, seen on Comcast Sportsnet New England. Gresh attended the University of Rhode Island where he was a two year letter winner as an offensive lineman from 1992-1995. He also has experience talking pro football on the ESPN Radio Network working with Pro Football Hall of Famer Mike Ditka, also on Sirius/XM NFL Radio working with Hall of Famer Jerry Rice and CBS analysts Shannon Sharpe and Rich Gannon, just to name a few.
Gary Tanguay enters his seventh season as host of Patriots Preview and Patriots Postgame, offering a steady hand and unique insight to the network’s six hours of pre and post-game programming. Tanguay is also currently the co-host of Comcast Sports Net Mohegan Sun Sports Tonight, a twice-nightly 30-minute sports news and opinion show. Prior to joining FSN New England, Tanguay worked as a sports anchor/reporter with WBZ-TV (CBS) in Boston. During his two-and-a-half year tenure at WBZ-TV, Tanguay traveled with the Boston Bruins and New England Patriots and served as a host on the popular Sunday night Sports Final. Arriving on the New England television scene in 1995, Tanguay worked with WGMC television in Worcester, WLVI-TV (WB) in Boston and New England Cable News (NECN).
In 1998, he was recognized with the Associated Press Best Sports Feature Award for his portrayal of the Joey DeGrandis story, a local boxing champion. Tanguay served as an original staff member at Sports Radio 850 WEEI in Boston; sports director for WERZ-FM and WMYF-AM in Exeter, NH; and as a radio personality at WIDE-AM and WYJY-FM in Biddeford, ME.
