Berkshire East is a family-run resort that has been around for 35 years. It is located in Charlemont, 17 miles west of Greenfield, just off Route 2. It has 45 trails.

Take Route 2 West. Merge onto I-91 South. Take the first exit (26) to get back onto Route 2 West. At the traffic circle take the second exit onto Route 2 West. From here there are signs directing you to Berkshire East. Follow Route 2 for 17 miles to Charlemont. After passing through the center of town take a left following the signs for Route 8A South. You will cross a bridge. At the T intersection take a left, and Berkshire East will be on your right.

Lessons:

Group Lessons are for ages 8 and up. They’re one-hour and held at 10 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. Cost: $30. A $10 savings is granted if a lift tickets, full rentals package and beginner group lesson are purchased.

Private Lessons are for ages 4 and up and held every hour starting at 10 a.m. Cost: $70 for each hour, $35 per additional person per hour.

What Else Is There To Do:

The Beastly Tubing Park opens at 10am and closes at 4pm. Tickets are good for two hours.
