As we approach the holiday weekend signs are pointing to a rough few days with numerous showers and much colder temps.
The Wheel Of Misfortune
The cool, clammy weather did hang in tough over the coastal plain yesterday as expected but that will all change today as a warm front tracks north-northeastward this morning. It is already very humid and in the middle 60s just south of Boston and that air will pour into the city and eventually stream into northeastern MA and southeastern NH.

While Eastern MA didn’t get into any sun today, the Western half of the State did and that lead to some more dangerous thunderstorms with one that crossed the Pioneer Valley getting Tornado Warned.

Yesterday’s boomers released copious amounts of rain in places especially over southern Worcester County where some locations such as Southbridge received well over 3 inches resulting in some flooding. Hail was rather widespread in many areas along and on either side of the MA Pike.
