Three Major Disappointments Over The Weekend……Count ‘Em…..Three!!!
2. No Triple Crown again this year. Truth be known…I’m being factitious with that one, because if I was going to be disappointed over something, the winner of a horse race would be the very last. Again to quote a neighbor (a different one) “don’t ever forget there are a lot more horses asses than there are horses.”
The Feel of Summer This Week…
Where the sunshine has been this morning, highs will be climbing into the upper 60′s nearing 70 inland away from the coast this afternoon. Clouds will be on the increase ahead of a warm front which will begin to push into New England later today and tonight. This front will help to trigger showers by the mid-late afternoon inland. These showers will spread east tonight.
Nice Weekend…But An Unsettled Week Ahead
The jetstream is steering NW winds aloft supplying a comfortable dry airmass with fairly typical temperatures for this time of year with highs in the Lwr 70s inland, and cooling onshore winds at the coast keeping temps in the 60′s at the beaches. Sunny to partly sunny skies for Saturday.
The Weekend…
High pressure is sliding in from the NW and this will lead to more great weather.
Cooler Yet Delightful
It’s a fab Friday as the sun shines brightly this morning following the warmest day since September 13. Boston’s 3:47 pm max of 82 degrees yesterday was not even close to the record of 93 which was set in 1932. We managed to capture the northern fringe of the hot air mass that scorched the upper Plains States and upper Mississippi Valley with temperatures in the range of 95-105 degrees a few days ago.
Keller @ Large: Escape To The Movies
This weekend might be the perfect time to catch up and get away from the depressing political news of the moment.
