    Adam Jones and Rich Keefe reacted to the news that Pablo Sandoval will undergo left shoulder surgery in the next week. As the guys discussed, strangely absent from the press release was the timetable for Sandoval’s return.

    Jones and Keefe started off Monday’s show discussing David Price’s latest poor performance at Fenway Park, and whether he is putting too much pressure on himself to succeed at home because of his massive contact.

    Tony Massarotti kicked off the Baseball Reporters discussing the Boston Red Sox weekend sweep of the New York Yankees.  Mazz talked about David Price’s performance last night and the decision making of manager John Farrell.  Finally, Tony previewed the Red Sox upcoming series against the White Sox in Chicago.

    In an early season development that nobody saw coming, Red Sox starting pitcher Rick Porcello has become a bright spot in the rotation, winning each of his first 5 starts and becoming a solid complement to staff ace David Price. Zo and Bertrand break down what has gone right for Rick Porcello in the early going of the season.

  • Price Shows Grit as Sox Move into First Place

    In one of the more notable games in recent Red Sox-Yankees lore, the Sox battled back for an 8-7 win over the Bronx Bombers. David Price was not at his best, but showed plenty of grit in tough spots to improve to 4-0 on the year, moving the Sox into sole possesion of first place in the A.L. East. Zo and Bertrand start off a Monday excited about the Sox!
  • Did Kraft and Goodell Discuss Brady Punishment?

    Over the weekend, Robert Kraft continued to reiterate the Patriots' stance on Tom Brady as he continues to fight the punishment in the DeflateGate case. There has been plenty of back and forth from both sides- Kraft and commissioner Roger Goodell have both spoken out in recent days, so Zo and Bertrand attempt to draw a link between both sides and continue to examine what, if any, communication has gone on between Kraft and the league.

    Ole Miss offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil was expected to go in the top-5 of the NFL Draft on Thursday night, but just prior to the first pick, a video of him supposedly smoking marijuana was tweeted from his account. He then fell to number 13 and was selected by the Miami Dolphins. Zolak and Bertrand react to the trouble surrounding this soon-to-be rookie tackle.

    On this hour of Toucher & Rich, Celtics play-by-play man Sean Grande talks C's, the guys discuss their thoughts going back to Ole Miss getting top prospects on National Signing Day, and then they run through The Stack.
