  • Abraham: Vazquez Likely To Undergo Tommy John Surgery

    Toucher & Rich talked to the Boston Globe's Pete Abraham Monday morning about Red Sox catcher Christian Vazquez, among other topics. Vazquez is meeting with Dr. James Andrews on Wednesday to get a second opinion on his throwing elbow. Meanwhile, the Red Sox have traded for a catcher in Sandy Leon, all but indicating that Vazquez will need Tommy John surgery to repair those damaged ligaments.
  • Jaffe: Krejci Not A Right Wing

    Toucher & Rich talked to NESN's Billy Jaffe Monday morning about the Bruins improving their playoff chances by getting two big wins over the weekend. Also, since returning from injury David Krejci has been playing right wing on the team's second line alongside Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand. Krejci looks out of sorts playing on the wing, and Billy Jaffe thinks head coach Claude Julien will experiment with some different combinations.

The Celtics got crushed by the Clippers. DeAndre Jordan is the worst free throw shooter in the NBA. Tuukka Rask left Saturday's game with "dehydration," which really means diarrhea.
