Police Rescue Dog From Hot Car In Wrentham

WRENTHAM (CBS) -- Wrentham police warned the public not to leave pets in cars after they rescued a dog from a store parking lot Sunday.

"When will people learn? The team inside your car soars over 100 degrees!" the department posted on Facebook.

The dog was saved from the car and cooled down at the police department.

The "owner will find an empty car when they're done shopping," said police.

That person will be facing charges.
