Double Crashes In Swampscott--By The Same Car

SWAMPSCOTT (CBS) -- A Toyota Camry crashed into a Swampscott chiropractor's office Saturday evening, after the car had already hit an SUV.

Police say the driver of the Toyota Camry was driving too fast when it hit the black Toyota SUV in a town intersection. The crash forced the SUV off the street and into a resident's yard.

Officials say the driver continued about a third of mile down the street and then crashed into a chiropractor's office.

Police and fire crews report that there were no serious injuries, but two people in the Camry and one person from the SUV were taken to an area hospital.

The driver of the Camry says he was having brake problems.

The cause of both crashes is under investigation and there are no arrests.

The names of the drivers and the others involved have not been released.
