NightSide - Muslim Life in America

BOSTON (CBS) - Inflammatory rhetoric during the 2016 campaign and a recent surge in terrorist activities have sparked a passionate debate in this country over whether we should be allowing Muslims from certain "high-risk" nations across our borders. But how has that affected day to day life for the millions of Muslims that already live in this country? Tonight, Dan is joined in studio by Imam Hamid Malik, Kashif Chaudhry, Faith Outreach Director for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Boston Chapter, and Maryam Sharrieff, Muslim Chaplain for Brandeis University. Our panel will talk about what life is like for American Muslims in our current political climate.

Originally broadcast June 8th, 2017.
