LAWRENCE (CBS) – A 66-year-old woman is recovering from injuries after crashing her minivan into a home in Lawrence.

Police say the driver was leaving a car wash off of South Broadway Wednesday afternoon when she lost control, went down a driveway and hit a house.

“It looked like somebody picked it up and threw it right into the house,” said witness James Waldie.
