Tom Brady Returns To Patriots Practice

BOSTON (CBS) - Patriots quarterback Tom Brady returned to practice on Friday after missing the previous two sessions with a knee injury. Tight end Martellus Bennett (knee) also returned after sitting out on Thursday.

The Boston Globe's Jim McBride reported on Thursday that Brady would be ready to play Sunday against the New York Jets.

Rob Gronkowski was also spotted on the practice field for the Patriots, who have listed the tight end as a "limited participant" for the past two days.

Brady originally hurt his knee against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 10, and may have aggravated the injury last Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, but he appears to be on track to play Sunday.

Gronkowski and Bennett's statuses remain more unclear. ESPN's Dianna Russini reported on Wednesday that Gronk is expected to miss his second straight game.

Bill Belichick will release the latest Patriots injury report later on Friday afternoon, as he always does.
