Drunken Bruins Recap: Chara Is A 'Giant' Who Can 'Give Some People Brain Damage'
BOSTON (CBS) -- The Bruins had an impressive 5-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday night, characterized by a full-team effort. It was also Military Appreciation Night. Needless to say, fans were amped up after the win.
98.5 The Sports Hub's Toucher & Rich sent Intern Nick to the TD Garden to capture the voice of the masses as Bruins fans exited the venue after Thursday night's game. He started off with a fan who confused him by randomly throwing around the term "housed."
But the craziest fan he found wasn't even at the game - he rode his bike five miles to the Garden as the game ended, just to be a part of the post-win excitement. The Charlie Day-sounding fan was about as hyper as you can get, making the guys wonder if he had some other kinds of substances in his body.
The guy proclaims that Bruins fans "need to start taking pride in the Black & Gold," and he ain't talking about Pittsburgh. His favorite goal was "all of them." And as for captain Zdeno Chara, he's a "giant" who "can give some people brain damage."
