'Jackie' Trailer: Natalie Portman Earns Rave Reviews For Kennedy Portrayal
LOS ANGELES (CBS) – "There won't be another Camelot."
Natalie Portman has only a few lines in the first trailer for a new film about the iconic First Lady, but many are already predicting that "Jackie" could earn her another Academy Award.
The trailer, released on Wednesday, shows the glamour and tragedy that surrounded Jackie Kennedy. Portman dons Kennedy's famous pillbox hat, as well as the blood-stained outfit she wore when the president was assassinated.
Review site IndieWire is calling Portman a "full-fledged Oscar contender," and that's just one of many rave reviews she's received.
One critic did say that Portman, a Harvard University graduate, didn't quite nail Jackie Kennedy's unforgettable voice.
"Jackie" is set to hit theaters this December.
