2 Hurt In Head-On Crash In Hanson

HANSON (CBS) -- Two people were hurt in a head-on crash on Route 27 early Tuesday morning.

Hanson Police said the crash happened around 6:25 a.m.

They said a 2000 Honda Accord was driving east when it crossed into the opposite lane, hitting a 2002 Dodge Ram pickup.

The driver of the Honda was trapped, and had to be rescued by Hanson Fire crews using the Jaws of Life. He was taken to South Shore Hospital.

The Dodge driver was taken to Brockton Hospital.

Neither driver has been identified, and their conditions were not yet known.

Both vehicles were seriously damaged.
